Why Nitish Had to Ditch JDU and Congress Again for His Political Gains?

by admin

Nitish Kumar has once again made his move and formed the Goverment in Bihar with Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). This is the record night-time he secured himself the post of Chief Minister of Bihar. Earlier, he formed the Goverment the with the Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party RJD after breaking his alliance with the BJP led Goverment. It was almost 18 months ago he made himself the Chief Minister of Bihar and he has done the same again. But what has led Nitish to do this and formed a Goverment with BJP again when he was already a CM and was the main phase behind the opposition party alliance called I.N.D.I. Let’s take a look:

Nitish took the oath of Chief Minister of Bihar after he broke his alliance with the RJD and Congress and formed the Goverment with BJP led NDA. Eight minister included Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar SInha from BJP also took the oath in a ceremony organised in Patna Rajbhavan. BJP’s National President JP Nadia was also present along with the Bihar’s Governer Rajendra Vishwanath. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given his wishes to the new Goverment saying that the newly formed NDA Goverment will be working towards the benefits of Bihar and its people.

Nitish has been well known for taking turns for his political benefits. 18 months ago when he formed the Goverment with RJD, he started working towards getting al the political parties together with an aim to stand together against the Narendra Modi led Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024. He himself was successful in bringing all parties together and forming an alliance called I.N.D.I. He became the favourite of the Congress abd Gandhi family as his personal agenda was to become the Prime Minister of Narendra Modi and the work he is doing, has made Nitish think that there’s no way he could become the Prime Minister this time and he also didn’t want to let go the Bihar’s CM post, he had no option but to get back to the alliance which he broke 18 months ago.

Pointing to the I.N.D.I. Alliance, he said that there was nothing going right in the alliance, no one was doing anything so he stopped saying anything. He has thanked to the Primie Minister Narendra Modi and said that newly formed Goverment will work towards the people of Bihar and their goods.

Now, let’s take a look at the times Nitish Kumar surprised everyone with his political moves:

2013:  Nitish was in power with the BJP led Goverment. But he got pissed off when BJP made Narendra Modi as the face of the PM back then. He broke the alliance with BJP and made Jitan Ram Manjit as the Chief Minister of Bihar. After that Nitish Kumar’s party fought solely in the election of the 2014 but only won 2 seats.

2015: Just before the assembly elections of Bihar, he formed an alliance with the RJD and secured a historic win. July 2017, he broker the alliance with RJD and formed a Goverment with BJP.

2020: Nitish Kumar fought the elections with BJP and became Chief Minister. August 2022, he broker the alliance with BJP and become CM again with the Congress and RJD alliance.

Nitish’s this move doesn’t actually surprise everyone this time as most of the political experts think that he had to make this move after Narendra Modi has laid the foundation of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir and did the Pran Pratishta back on January 22, 2024. BJP has got the massive support from all over the country and from the world too and Nitish has seen this opportunity to save his political career. Narendra Modi is the most popular leader of the world and he is all set to become the Prime Minister of India third time in a row. The current BJP Goverment has also played a major part in the Ayodhya Ram Madir, through which the party is all set to get some record-breaking benefits this time time, saying the political experts.
