When two best friends meet, protocols and formalities take a backseat. It was evident as Narendra Modi landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on February 25, 2026. It was his second official visit to Israel as the Prime Minister of India, after 2017. The moment the PM’s plane touched the tarmac and taxied its way onto the red carpet zone, the vibes and signs of bonhomie were omnipresent.

In one of the rarest gestures that broke all diplomatic protocols, both Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, were at the airport to welcome Modi. What caught the attention was the color of Sara’s attire. It was saffron from top to bottom, matching it with Modi’s subtle saffron hue in his coat’s pocket. Ironically, saffron is the color of Hindus, who form the majority population in India. And, as usual, it was the “Modi-hug” and an equally warm embrace from “Bibi” Netanyahu that kept cameras rolling.

Why is this Visit Significant?

The timing of this visit is noteworthy. It comes months before the elections in Israel and days after Trump’s “Board of Peace” optics for Gaza’s restoration after its self-inflicted war damage. The geopolitically untimely visit is an indication of India’s urge to expand the India-Israel Strategic Partnership to new heights.

For decades, the US played the role of a Godfather in the Middle East and West Asia, formulating policies and making key decisions in favor of its allies. However, it now feels the time is ripe to lessen its presence in this region. It is neither economically nor strategically viable to sustain their long-haul operations, except for marketing their war machines.

New power-hungry players are emerging on the scene. Opportunistic Turkey and Saudi Arabia want to portray their regional supremacy, ignoring the legitimate security concerns of Israel. They aspire to a hegemonic stake in the region, unmindful of the strategic repercussions.

Above everything, Netanyahu is feeling internationally isolated, except for the half-hearted support of the US. Modi’s visit comes at a crucial time as Bibi’s global reputation takes a beating due to serious allegations of war crimes, genocide, and an arrest warrant against him and his ex-defense minister, Yoav Gallant. India’s unconditional support at this juncture matters a lot to mitigate the wounds of injustice suffered by Jews. This historic visit proves Jerusalem is not alone. It has mighty India, the new economic and military powerhouse, by its side.

Decades of Military-Technological Partnership

India-Israel defense cooperation is nothing hidden. For years, New Delhi has been buying Israeli military hardware and cutting-edge defense technologies. Radars, precision-guided munitions, air-defense systems, tactical small arms, rockets, missiles, avionics, and military software dominated the billion-dollar deals in the past. This visit aims to broaden the horizon of military sales and joint production. The focus is on a long-term strategic roadmap.

Both countries are eying a jump from traditional domains to technologically infused ecosystems, such as AI, machine learning, drones, and quantum technologies. The signing of more than 15 MoUs in agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, culture, and education speaks of the diversity of collaborations, in addition to military ties. It is a key milestone in the relationship between the two countries.

Some of the new defense systems on offer are Air LORA, Sky Stinger, Rampage, Spice precision-guided bombs, Barak-8 ER missiles, Ice Breaker, Iron Beam, and more. India is never shy to absorb new technologies that make a difference on the battlefield. Israel knows that very well.

Strategic Outcome

The bilateral meeting between Modi and Netanyahu has enormous repercussions in global geopolitics and in India’s neighborhood. The nefarious trio of Pakistan, China, and Turkey is closely watching the visit. The deepening defense cooperation predominantly emphasizes critical technology transfers. India gains access to high-end military technologies that have a game-changing effect.

The visit comes amid the final stages of the Gaza War, as the world is hell-bent on Israel to stop the actions in the Gaza Strip, following the barbaric 7th October massacre of innocent Jews by Hamas Islamic terrorists.

The Modi visit sets a different tone for the India-Israel relationship with outright support for Jerusalem. Previous heads-of-state meetings were shrouded in secrecy without any clear message or joint statements. This time, the Modi government has upped the ante, describing India’s full support for Israel in its war against terror. Meanwhile, India is treading the geo-political path cautiously, without annoying friendly Gulf countries, such as the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Political and Diplomatic Outcome

Modi’s historic visit to Israel is unparalleled in India’s West Asia diplomacy, considering its relations in the Gulf region. His address to the Knesset highlights the government’s priority to a tie that stood the test of time. India has maintained a balanced approach, without taking a biased stand. Its diplomacy rests on the strong pillars of ethics, morals, and dignity without compromising on the country’s interests. The key highlights of Modi’s Knesset speech are as follows:

Narendra Modi extended firm support to Israel, condemning the October 7th massacre as a “barbaric terrorist attack” against humanity. He stated, “We feel your pain“. “We share your grief”. He also said, “India stands with Israel firmly, with full conviction, in this moment, and beyond”.

In his opening remarks, Modi started by saying, “I also carry with me the deepest condolences of the people of India for every life lost, and whose world was shattered by the barbaric terrorist attack”. A clear shift from the past, when India hesitated to take sides in the Middle East conflict.

In a historic address to the parliament or Knesset, Modi did not mince words. He openly supported Jerusalem, saying “no cause can justify the murder of civilians”. He received a standing ovation from the members of the ruling party, including Benjamin Netanyahu, opposition leaders, and the speaker of the Knesset. Furthermore, Bibi reciprocated by describing Modi as “more than a friend, a brother”. He also lauded Indian commandos who valiantly liberated Haifa from the tyrannical Ottoman Empire in the First World War.

In a historic first, the Indian Prime Minister was conferred with the “Speaker of the Knesset” medal for his unconditional support of Israel. His remarks about the Jewish community in India, especially the Jews of Kerala, Kolkata, and Mumbai, who never experienced any discrimination in India, got a huge applause.

In a nutshell, Modi’s Knesset speech leaves no room for ambiguity in India and globally that, as long as the right-wing BJP government is in power, India will openly support Israel, come what may. After all, when ideologies match, a natural bond deepens without any catch or clause.

Economic and Cultural Outcome

New Delhi emphasizes continued collaboration in agriculture, defense, AI algorithms, quantum technology, and people-to-people contact. The Indian Prime Minister said, “India is committed to expanding trade with Israel, as both sides are formulating cross-border financial linkages via digital public infrastructure”. He also stated that an ambitious Free Trade Agreement is on the cards to tap the vast potential in bilateral trade and commerce, including science and technology.

India’s bilateral trade has grown significantly from USD200 million in 2002 to a staggering USD10.7 billion in 2022-23, before the Gaza conflict. India exports refined crude oil (petrol and diesel), textiles, gems & jewelry, and heavy machinery to Israel. It imports diamonds, minerals, fertilizers, and electronic circuits.

Lately, talks on seamless labor mobility from India to Israel dominate all economic discussions. Israel is facing an acute labor shortage due to the closure of the border, restricting Palestinians from coming to work in Israel.

Similarly, Indian students and research scientists are eyeing admissions in prestigious Israeli academic institutions. In-coming and outgoing tourists are also on the rise. It is a part of cultural diplomacy that helps strengthen the existing bond.

Bilateral defense trade remains the cornerstone of India-Israel Strategic Partnership, even as the focus is to grow beyond this traditional realm.

Global Reactions and Unwarranted Controversies at Home

The world is watching the developments between New Delhi and Jerusalem with a hawk eye. For instance, rogue adversaries, such as Pakistan and Turkey, are considering this visit as a threat to their sovereignty and existence. They unequivocally consider the brother-in-arms as a danger to the so-called Muslim Ummah (community) of which they are the self-proclaimed caliphates.

Similarly, Saudi Arabia is closely monitoring the unfolding of events during the meeting of the two great leaders. However, Western leaders haven’t spoken openly about this visit.

At home, the Modi government is facing the usual backlash from the pro-Palestinian Congress party, which is the main opposition in the Indian parliament. It calls the visit “shameful” and accuses the Prime Minister of aligning with the US and Israel. This superficial crying and shedding of crocodile tears is not new in their political genome, which, for years after independence, restricted the majority Hindus from freely expressing their religious beliefs.

Other fringe elements, like the extinct communists, fashionista liberals, and ill-educated pseudo-seculars, are criticizing Narendra Modi for his trip to Israel. Everyone knows that such extinct political ideologies try to satisfy the minority Muslims of India in exchange for votes. For them, the minorities are an easy vote bank by showing their stance against Hindus.

India’s western neighbor, Pakistan, is deeply annoyed by this historic visit, as it considers Jews and Hindus to be non-believers who are trying to destabilize the Muslim world. Fear and desperation are clear in the social media posts of a few notable social media influencers in Pakistan.

Highlight of Modi’s Epic Visit

The highlight of Modi’s trip to Israel was a visit to Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem. He paid heartfelt tributes to the six million innocent Jews who perished at the hands of the Nazis during the Second World War. It was a somber moment for both the leaders as they walked through the gates of the memorial into the central hall. Modi laid a wreath and placed a stone in memory of the departed souls. The Jews were eliminated systematically between 1939 and 1944 in the scattered ghettos and concentration camps.

Narendra Modi had Benjamin Netanyahu by his side at the Holocaust Memorial.

The highlight of the solemn ceremony was the recital of “El Maleh Rahamim” by the Cantor.

PM Modi placed a wreath in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

Modi also paid a visit to the “Hall of Names” that preserves the identities of the numerous Jews who were murdered in cold blood by the Nazis. The memorial preserves the names of nearly 6 million Jews.

It is the second visit of Narendra Modi to Yad Vashem.

Key Takeaways of this Historic Visit – MoUs and Agreements

MoU on AI capacity building in civilian sectors and academic research, especially in areas of defense and public-private partnerships.

MoU on advancing education and data literacy through the use of AI, in areas like human-centered learning and teacher development. In this context, a special MoU was signed between Nalanda University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

LoI on establishing a joint Cyber Centre of Excellence in India.

Signing of a Cultural Exchange Program in the creative domain of arts, music, dance, theatre, and other fields.

Signing of a MoU between ICAR and MASHAV to enhance next-generation agricultural technology development. Another document was signed in cooperation with the fisheries.

MoU on enhancing geophysical exploration, especially mineral exploration using predictive AI technologies.

Modi’s Interaction with the Indian Diaspora, Artists, and Innovators

Modi’s trip to a foreign nation is not complete without meeting the dynamic Indian diaspora, consisting of university students, scholars, businessmen, artists, and workers who shape a nation. This trip was no different. He met people from all walks of life who are residing in Israel, learning and contributing to the local society. They best reflect the deep-rooted trust, bond, and friendship between the two great nations whose civilizations are thousands of years old. Modi also planted a tree in the President’s Garden.

Conclusion

This historic trip ushers in a new era of regional and global supremacy in an evolving world order. Both leaders agreed on a diverse range of topics, including science & technology, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, agriculture development, and defense co-production. Gone are the days of Western hegemony, as new powers of the Global South are shaping the fragile geopolitics. India is surging ahead in its quest for a leadership role, respecting the interests of its key allies, such as Israel, Russia, France, the EU, BRICS, and the United States of America. Whether people-to-people ties or diplomatic bonhomie, India understands the sentiments and knows how to carry its trusted partners along the path to prosperity.

Ending a marriage is rarely easy, and the legal process can feel overwhelming if you are unsure where to begin. Understanding how to file for divorce and what to expect at each stage can help reduce stress and allow you to make informed decisions during an emotionally challenging time. While divorce laws vary slightly by state in the US, the overall process follows a similar structure nationwide.

This step-by-step guide explains how to file for divorce, what divorce papers are involved, when you may need a divorce lawyer, and how financial matters such as support are typically addressed. Whether your separation is amicable or contested, knowing the procedure in advance can help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Understanding Divorce in the United States

Before beginning the legal process, it is important to understand what divorce involves from a legal standpoint. Divorce is the formal dissolution of a marriage by a court, and it requires compliance with state-specific laws and procedures. Although terminology and timelines differ slightly, the fundamental stages remain consistent across most jurisdictions.

No-Fault and Fault-Based Divorce

Most divorces in the US are filed on a no-fault basis, meaning neither spouse is required to prove wrongdoing. Instead, the marriage is said to have broken down due to irreconcilable differences. Some states still recognise fault-based grounds, but these are less commonly used and can make proceedings more complex.

Understanding whether your divorce will be no-fault or fault-based can influence the type of divorce papers you file and whether legal representation is advisable from the outset.

Residency Requirements Before Filing

Every state requires at least one spouse to have lived there for a specific period before filing for divorce. These residency rules must be met before the court will accept your divorce papers. Failing to meet residency requirements may result in delays or dismissal of your case.

Step 1: Deciding Whether to File for Divorce

The first step in learning how to file for divorce is deciding whether legal separation or divorce is the appropriate option. Divorce permanently ends the marriage, whereas separation allows couples to live apart without dissolving the legal relationship.

For many couples, this decision comes after careful consideration of emotional, financial, and family factors. If reconciliation is unlikely, filing for divorce may provide a clear legal framework for resolving outstanding issues.

Considering Legal Advice Early

Although it is possible to file for divorce without professional help, speaking to a divorce lawyer early in the process can help you understand your rights and obligations. Legal advice is particularly valuable if children, shared property, or significant financial assets are involved.

Step 2: Preparing Divorce Papers

Once the decision has been made, the next step is preparing the necessary divorce papers. These documents formally request the court to dissolve the marriage and outline the relief you are seeking, such as property division or child custody arrangements.

What Divorce Papers Typically Include

Divorce papers generally include a petition or complaint for divorce, which identifies both spouses, states the grounds for divorce, and specifies requests regarding finances, children, and property. Additional forms may be required depending on the state, particularly where children or shared assets are involved.

Accuracy is essential when completing divorce papers, as errors or omissions can slow the process or require amendments later.

Filing the Papers With the Court

After completing the required documents, they must be filed with the appropriate court. This officially begins the divorce process. A filing fee is usually required, although fee waivers may be available in certain circumstances.

Once filed, the court assigns a case number, which is used to track your divorce proceedings.

Step 3: Serving Divorce Papers to Your Spouse

After filing, the divorce papers must be formally delivered to the other spouse. This step, known as service of process, ensures that both parties are aware of the legal action and have the opportunity to respond.

Service rules vary by state, but they typically require delivery by an authorised individual rather than the filing spouse. Proof of service must then be submitted to the court to confirm that the papers were properly delivered.

Responding to Divorce Papers

Once served, the receiving spouse has a limited time to respond. They may agree to the terms, dispute certain issues, or file a counterclaim. If no response is filed within the required timeframe, the court may proceed without their input.

Step 4: Temporary Orders and Initial Court Proceedings

In many divorce cases, temporary court orders are issued early in the process. These orders address immediate concerns such as living arrangements, financial support, and parenting responsibilities while the divorce is ongoing.

Temporary orders help maintain stability and provide clear expectations until a final agreement or judgment is reached. A divorce lawyer can be particularly helpful at this stage, especially if disagreements arise.

Step 5: Financial Disclosure and Asset Division

A key part of how to file for divorce involves full financial disclosure. Both spouses are typically required to provide detailed information about income, debts, assets, and expenses. Transparency is essential, as failure to disclose financial information can lead to legal consequences.

Division of Marital Property

Once financial information is exchanged, the process of dividing marital property begins. Courts aim for a fair distribution based on state law, which may consider factors such as the length of the marriage and each spouse’s financial circumstances.

This stage often determines how property, savings, and liabilities will be allocated once the divorce is final.

Understanding Spousal Support

Financial support between spouses may also be addressed. Many people ask, is alimony taxable, particularly when planning for life after divorce. While tax treatment has changed in recent years, understanding how support payments are structured remains an important part of financial planning during divorce proceedings.

Step 6: Child Custody and Support Considerations

If children are involved, custody and support arrangements are a central focus of the divorce process. Courts prioritise the best interests of the child when determining parenting arrangements.

Parents may reach an agreement independently or with legal assistance. If no agreement is reached, the court will decide based on the information presented.

Child support calculations are typically guided by state-specific formulas, taking into account income, custody arrangements, and the child’s needs.

Step 7: Negotiation, Mediation, or Court Hearings

Many divorces are resolved through negotiation or mediation rather than a full court trial. These approaches allow spouses to reach mutually acceptable agreements with less conflict and expense.

A divorce lawyer can play a valuable role during negotiations, helping to protect your interests and ensure that agreements are fair and legally sound. If disputes remain unresolved, the case may proceed to court hearings where a judge makes the final decisions.

Step 8: Finalising the Divorce

Once all issues have been resolved, either through agreement or court decision, the final divorce papers are prepared. These documents reflect the terms of the divorce, including property division, support arrangements, and custody agreements.

After reviewing the paperwork, the court issues a final judgment of divorce. This legally ends the marriage and makes the terms enforceable.

Life After Divorce

Finalising the divorce is not just a legal milestone but also a personal transition. Understanding the outcome of your case, including financial responsibilities and parental arrangements, can help you plan the next chapter of your life with greater certainty.

Common Mistakes to Avoid When Filing for Divorce

Many people underestimate the complexity of divorce papers or assume that informal agreements are sufficient. Failing to follow proper procedures, missing deadlines, or misunderstanding legal requirements can lead to unnecessary delays or unfavourable outcomes.

Seeking guidance from a divorce lawyer and carefully reviewing all documents before submission can help avoid these issues.

When to Hire a Divorce Lawyer

While some divorces are straightforward, others involve complex financial or family matters. A divorce lawyer can provide clarity, manage paperwork, and represent your interests in negotiations or court.

Legal support is particularly valuable when disputes arise or when you are unsure how state laws apply to your situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to file for divorce in the US?
The timeline varies by state and depends on whether the divorce is contested or uncontested. Some cases are resolved in a few months, while others may take significantly longer.

Can I file for divorce without a divorce lawyer?
Yes, it is possible to file without legal representation, especially in straightforward cases. However, a divorce lawyer can help ensure accuracy and protect your rights.

What triggered the IndiGo Airline fiasco? Aviation experts believe that the new crew-rostering and FDTL rules are to blame to some extent. It came into effect on November 1, 2025. The DGCA-approved rules entitle pilots and cabin crew to additional rest hours, which ultimately led to an acute staff shortage. The rules entitle pilots to 48 hours of rest, instead of 36. It resulted in flight delays and, later, mass cancellations. More than 1,000 flights were canceled on a single day on December 5, 2025. It left thousands of people stranded at airports. Some were to attend weddings, funerals, visit family, attend events, exams, or head out for vacations.

What’s at the Heart of the Crisis? – It’s IndiGo’s Failure to Adapt to Changes

Obviously, the new Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) rolled out by DGCA last month was seen as the precursor that triggered this IndiGo mayhem. More than the rules, the faulty roster implementation by the IndiGo management further aggravated the scenario. The worst-hit are New Delhi and Bengaluru, followed by Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.

The crisis is full-blown and still prevails. As of December 9, more than 500 IndiGo flights have faced cancellations. In response, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has asked the carrier to cut 10% of its scheduled winter flights from the previous 5% order, a day earlier. This move came even after the private airline was initially given the green signal to increase its flights to over 6 percent a few days ago. However, the inability of IndiGo to streamline its operations forced MoCA to penalize the carrier. With the latest move, the company loses roughly 215-220 flights per day, as it operates over 2,200 domestic and international flights.

NOTE: The CEO of IndiGo Airlines, Pieter Elbers, was summoned by MoCA earlier on Tuesday to brief government officials on the issue and inform them about the measures taken to tackle the situation. The government wants the carrier to submit a revised flight schedule by Wednesday evening.

DGCA’s Show-Cause Notice to IndiGo Airlines

IndiGo management sought more time from DGCA in response to the show-cause notices served to its top brass. According to company officials, they require more time to pinpoint the exact cause that led to the fallout. However, they were quick to render an apology, saying the airline was “profusely apologetic” for the hardships caused to passengers. The Civil Aviation Minister of India, Ram Mohan Naidu, has clearly stated that IndiGo flight cancellations over the past week were solely due to the internal crisis and mismanagement of the airline company. Earlier, the minister had warned of exemplary action against the low-cost carrier.

IndiGo’s Reputation as a Market Leader in Low-Cost Flight Operations takes a Beating

With the ongoing crisis amid large-scale flight cancellations, IndiGo’s flowery reputation is at stake. It is not only impacting revenues but also delivering a severe blow to its pan-India reputation. The low-cost carrier’s future expansion plans may be in jeopardy, as it has ordered a fleet of more than 500 narrow and wide-bodied airplanes from Airbus and Boeing to augment its growing domestic and international operations.

Summing it up

The utter chaos and confusion at airports have forced the government to crack the whip. However, the central aviation regulatory body, DGCA, has relaxed some FDTL norms for airlines. This move aims to normalize flight operations. It can be said that the fault lines are within IndiGo’s HR policy, operations, and manpower planning. They had several months to implement the new FDTL rules, but somehow failed to adapt to the changes, whereas their competitors had no such issues. The government plans to identify the gaps and fix them. Meanwhile, customers can claim compensation from the airline company, as legal experts state that IndiGo is bound to compensate them under the DGCA rules and the Consumer Protection Act.

FAQs

Q1. What exactly triggered the IndiGo flight cancellations and chaos?

The immediate trigger was the enforcement of new crew-rostering rules under the revised Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL), effective from  November 1, 2025, which mandated longer rest hours for pilots and crew. However, the disruption escalated because IndiGo failed to reorganise its pilot roster properly, leading to acute staff shortages as winter scheduling demand surged.

Q2. How many flights were cancelled and over what period?

According to public data, thousands of flights were cancelled in early December. For instance, on a single day (5 December 2025), more than 1,000 flights were cancelled.

As of 9 December, reports indicated around 500 or more flights remained cancelled even after partial restoration.

Q3. Why couldn’t IndiGo handle the new FDTL rules correctly despite the warning?

Though the rule changes had been announced well in advance, IndiGo reportedly did not adjust operations or recruit enough pilots. Analysts note that the airline continued operating as a lean organisation with minimal buffer capacity, which made it vulnerable once stricter rest and duty norms kicked in. Moreover, its winter schedule (approved by DGCA) significantly increased flight frequency without matching crew-strength increases — a critical planning oversight.

Q4. What has been the response of the regulator (DGCA) and the government (MoCA)?

DGCA issued a show‑cause notice to IndiGo’s top leadership, seeking explanations for what it called serious lapses in planning, oversight, and resource management. Furthermore, MoCA directed IndiGo to reduce its scheduled winter flights by 10% (up from an initial 5% cut) to stabilize operations while investigations and corrective actions are underway.

Q5. What are the consequences for passengers? Can they claim compensation or refunds?

Yes. Affected passengers are eligible for compensation and refunds under DGCA’s regulations and the relevant consumer‑protection laws, given the massive cancellations and disruptions. IndiGo has reportedly apologised and committed to offering remedies for the inconveniences caused.

Q6. Could this crisis affect IndiGo’s long‑term reputation and expansion plans?

Absolutely. The debacle has dented IndiGo’s reputation as India’s leading low‑cost carrier. Loss of customer trust, regulatory scrutiny, and possible operational restrictions may slow down its aggressive expansion of fleet and network.

The 2008 Malegaon blast case has been one of the most debated and politically charged trials in India’s recent history. Nearly 17 years after the devastating blast that shook the small town of Malegaon in Maharashtra, a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Mumbai has acquitted all seven accused, including BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur and Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Shrikant Purohit. The ruling, delivered on 31 July 2025, brings closure to a prolonged trial that has influenced India’s political, social, and communal discourse for over a decade.

This verdict, however, has raised as many questions as it has answered. While the acquittal rested on a lack of evidence, the case continues to spark debate over the conduct of investigative agencies, the use of stringent anti-terror laws, and the impact such allegations leave on the lives of those accused and the families of the victims.

The Tragedy in Malegaon

On the evening of 29 September 2008, as the holy month of Ramzan was drawing to a close and Navratri celebrations were about to begin, Malegaon’s peace was shattered. A powerful improvised explosive device (IED) strapped to an LML Freedom motorcycle exploded near Anjuman Chowk, close to a mosque in the town. Six people lost their lives, and over 100 others were injured, many of them severely.

ALSO READ: UPI Changes in India: What You Need to Know from August 1, 2025

The timing and location of the blast amplified its impact, striking at a moment of heightened religious sensitivity. For many in India, the Malegaon blast became a symbol of how fragile communal harmony could be in the face of terror.

From Police to NIA: A Case That Changed Hands

Initially registered at the Azad Nagar Police Station, the case was quickly handed over to Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). In the weeks that followed, ATS investigators invoked stringent laws including the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). Their case centered on an alleged conspiracy by a group linked to the organisation Abhinav Bharat, reportedly co-founded by Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt. Col. Purohit.

By 2009, the case was transferred to the NIA. Over the years, it saw several twists and turns, arrests, conflicting witness statements, and even allegations of coerced testimonies. At one point, the narrative around the case gave rise to the political discourse of “saffron terror” or “Hindu terrorism,” changing how terrorism was discussed in Indian politics.

The Court’s Observations

Delivering the verdict, Special Judge A.K. Lahoti highlighted that the prosecution had failed to present cogent evidence against the accused. The court noted that the bike allegedly used in the blast could not be definitively linked to Pragya Thakur. Forensic experts had failed to recover the complete chassis number, leaving ownership unproven. Moreover, claims that Lt. Col. Purohit had sourced RDX from Kashmir and assembled the bomb were dismissed due to lack of credible evidence.

“There is no cogent material against her or any other accused in the case,” the court stated. It further remarked, “Terrorism has no religion as no religion advocates violence. Judgments cannot be based on morals and public perception.”

The court accepted that six people were indeed killed and 95 injured (as opposed to the 101 initially claimed) but ordered compensation, ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured.

Allegations of Coercion and Torture

One of the most explosive developments following the verdict came from Pragya Singh Thakur herself. Speaking to the media, she alleged that during the investigation she had been tortured and coerced to name senior leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

According to Thakur, she was pressured to sign false statements, detained illegally, and subjected to severe physical and mental abuse. “They made me name several people, including Ram Madhav. To do all of this, they tortured me. My lungs gave up… I was detained in a hospital illegally,” she recounted.

Her claims were supported by revelations from witnesses. In its judgment, the NIA court recorded testimony from Milind Joshi Rao, a witness who alleged that ATS officials had detained him illegally and forced him to implicate leaders such as Yogi Adityanath and Indresh Kumar of the RSS.

These statements raised troubling questions about the conduct of the ATS and the methods employed during the investigation.

The Missing Links: Absconding Accused

While the court acquitted the seven, two key figures including Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange remain absconding. The ATS had earlier claimed these two planted and detonated the bomb. Their absence has left a significant gap in the case, one that continues to haunt the investigation.

Impact on Indian Politics

The Malegaon blast case has had a profound impact on Indian politics. It was one of the first cases where allegations of “Hindu terrorism” entered mainstream political discourse. The arrests of a serving Army officer and a BJP leader gave rise to heated debates about communalism, terrorism, and the credibility of investigative agencies.

Over time, as the case dragged on and evidence faltered, it became a rallying point for those who argued that terror cases were often politicised. The acquittal has now reinforced that view, but the larger question, whether investigative agencies in India can remain free of political and communal influence, remains unanswered.

Life After Acquittal: The Road Ahead

For those acquitted, the verdict is both a relief and a reminder of lost years. Pragya Singh Thakur has publicly stated that no amount of legal vindication can undo the suffering she endured. Similarly, Lt. Col. Purohit has spent years trying to clear his name while also fighting battles within the Army and the courts.

For the families of victims, however, the verdict brings mixed feelings. While compensation has been ordered, the absence of convictions leaves them without closure.

FAQs on the Malegaon Blast Case

Q1: What happened in the 2008 Malegaon blast?
On 29 September 2008, an IED strapped to a motorcycle exploded in a Muslim-majority area of Malegaon, Maharashtra. Six people were killed and more than 100 injured.

Q2: Who were the main accused in the case?
The seven accused acquitted include BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur, Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit, Ramesh Upadhyay, Sameer Kulkarni, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhakar Dwivedi, and Sudhakar Chaturvedi.

Q3: Why did the court acquit the accused?
The NIA court found that the prosecution failed to provide cogent evidence. Key claims, such as the ownership of the motorcycle and the sourcing of RDX, could not be substantiated.

Q4: Were there allegations of coercion during the investigation?
Yes. Pragya Thakur claimed she was tortured and coerced to implicate leaders like PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath. Witnesses also testified that ATS officials pressured them to name political figures.

Q5: What compensation has been given to victims?
The court ruled that families of the deceased would receive ₹2 lakh each, while injured victims would get ₹50,000 each.

Q6: Are any accused still absconding?
Yes. Two alleged conspirators, Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange, remain untraced.

Q7: What larger impact did the case have on Indian politics?
The case fuelled debates around “saffron terror,” reshaped discussions on communalism in terrorism cases, and raised concerns about investigative agencies being influenced by political agendas.

Final Thoughts

The Malegaon blast case will likely remain a reference point in India’s legal and political history. While the verdict has acquitted the accused, the larger narrative is far from settled. The questions it raises about justice, truth, and accountability, continue to echo in the minds of both the victims’ families and the nation at large.

As India moves forward, the case stands as a reminder that justice delayed is often justice denied, and that the integrity of investigations is crucial to preserving both communal harmony and democratic trust.

The shocking events that unfolded in Midtown Manhattan on the evening of July 28, 2025, have left both the United States and the whole world shaken. The incident, which took place at 345 Park Avenue, a skyscraper housing major organisations including the NFL headquarters and Blackstone, resulted in multiple fatalities and raised urgent questions about gun violence and mental health. At the centre of the tragedy was 27‑year‑old Shane Tamura, identified by authorities as the Manhattan shooter.

The Events of the Midtown Shooting

According to police reports, Shane Tamura entered the Midtown office building wearing body armour and carrying a high‑powered rifle. As he opened fire, chaos erupted. Four individuals lost their lives, including an off‑duty NYPD officer. Several others were injured, while employees on the floors below barricaded themselves behind office furniture to keep safe.

Tamura moved through the building, ultimately reaching the 33rd floor, which houses part of Blackstone’s operations and the offices of Rudin Management. It was here that officers found him dead, believed to be from a self‑inflicted gunshot wound.

Who Was Shane Tamura?

Shane Tamura was a 27‑year‑old from Las Vegas, Nevada. He grew up in Los Angeles, where he attended Granada Hills Charter High School and played American football as a running back and defensive back. Former classmates described him as a “goofball,” not someone they had associated with violence.

Despite his past as a student athlete, Tamura did not go on to play professionally. Instead, he later held a firearms permit issued by Las Vegas police, though it was reportedly revoked in 2022. Records also show he previously had a work card through the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board, which later expired.

Possible Motives and the NFL Connection

A major point of speculation following the shooting is whether Tamura deliberately targeted the offices of the National Football League, located within the building. A nine‑year‑old video recently resurfaced online showing him discussing a high school football game, fuelling theories that his past connection to the sport may have influenced his actions.

Adding weight to this speculation, New York City Mayor Eric Adams stated in interviews that Tamura “appeared to have blamed the NFL for his injury”. A note found in his pocket requested that his brain be studied for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition linked to repeated head trauma, common in contact sports such as football.

The Mental Health Dimension

New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed that Tamura had a documented history of mental health challenges. Investigators also discovered a revolver, ammunition, medication, and a backpack in his vehicle, which he had driven cross‑country from Las Vegas to New York.

While CTE cannot be conclusively diagnosed in a living person, the note left by Tamura raised the possibility that his declining mental health may have been connected to his football history. However, officials emphasised that no evidence has yet confirmed this link.

Witness Accounts and the Atmosphere in Midtown

Eyewitnesses described the building as resembling a “war zone” during the shooting. Staff on lower floors recalled pushing furniture against doors to prevent the shooter from entering. Others reported sending desperate text messages to loved ones, uncertain if they would survive.

The tragedy has once again highlighted the vulnerabilities of high‑density urban spaces in the face of armed violence.

Remembering the Victims

Among the four confirmed victims was a 36‑year‑old off‑duty NYPD officer. Three other civilians were also killed in the attack, their identities being withheld until families were notified. The deaths have drawn widespread sympathy across the United States and the world, with vigils already being planned.

Conclusion

The shooting in New York underscores the complex interplay between gun control, mental health, and the cultural significance of American football. While investigators continue to piece together Shane Tamura’s motivations, the grief and shock felt by the families of the victims and the broader public remain profound.

As officials pursue further leads, the Midtown tragedy serves as a chilling reminder of the urgent need to address these societal challenges head‑on.

FAQs

Who was Shane Tamura?
Shane Tamura was a 27‑year‑old from Las Vegas who opened fire in a Midtown Manhattan skyscraper, killing four people before dying from an apparent self‑inflicted gunshot wound.

Where did the NYC shooting take place?
The shooting occurred at 345 Park Avenue in Manhattan, a building that houses major organisations including Blackstone and the NFL headquarters.

Was the NFL specifically targeted?
Although not confirmed by police, speculation has arisen that Tamura targeted the NFL offices. New York’s mayor suggested he may have blamed the NFL for brain injuries possibly linked to football.

Did Shane Tamura have a criminal record?
Reports indicate that Tamura had previously been issued a firearms permit, later revoked, and a work card from the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board. He also had a documented mental health history.

What role did CTE play in the case?
Tamura left a note asking for his brain to be studied for CTE, a brain condition associated with repeated head trauma. However, there is no conclusive evidence yet linking him to the condition.

How many people were killed in the Midtown shooting?
At least four people, including an off‑duty NYPD officer, were killed

Welcome to the Gates of Hell – The Unforgiving Nazi Killing Factory

The train slowly chugs into Auschwitz on a freezing winter morning, which was now a daily routine in the middle of the war. It was a station where no train originated but only terminated. The chill in the air was enough to bite and pierce through the bare skin as the temperature went well below the freezing point. And, to be more precise, it was a wagon train meant for carrying goods, pressed into service for transporting men, women, and children from the scattered ghettos of Europe to the concentration camps spread around Poland and Germany. The most notorious ones were in Poland. One of those was Auschwitz, or Oświęcim, to be precise. There were many more such extermination or concentration camps located in Treblinka, Belzec, Begen-Belsen, Dachau, Sobibor, and Buchenwald, to name a few. But, the most feared and dreaded among all was at Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland. There was nowhere to escape from here. The Jews came here to die in agony and pain. Well, they did not come on their own. They had it in their destiny. Even God almighty could not alter their fearful destiny. It was fate and nothing else.

Life in the Ghettos

Ghettos refers to confined localities within a city, which acted as an open prison, meant for keeping people, especially during World War 2, by the occupying Nazi forces. Here, the people were Jews, who were all forced to wear a Yellow Star stitched on their clothes with the word Jude embroidered on it, just like a Dog Tag that military personnel wear. It served the same purpose, except that they (Jews) were convicts under Nazi occupation. It was to distinguish them from the native German population. It was mandatory and compulsory for a Jew to adorn this badge on the chest.

ALSO READ: Top 5 Car Insurance Companies in Dubai – Coverages & Plans

All Jews brought into a ghetto from their cozy homes in Europe had to wear the Yellow Star with the writing Jude stitched onto their clothing. Without the badge, they faced the wrath of the German SS guards and even got shot and killed if they failed to show any reason for not wearing it. So, the ghettos in Germany and Poland served as a transit or a base camp of some sort, from where the innocent and helpless Jewish captives would depart for their final destination. Yes, to the concentration or extermination camps for getting butchered or killed.

Adding to their miseries, the conditions in these ghettos were terrible, but what was waiting for them was far beyond hell. To be candid, it was Satanic. They just could not imagine the intensity of pain, trauma, agony, distress, helplessness, and sorrow that each one of them would have to go through upon arrival at Auschwitz. They were told that a new life awaited them. What a terrible murder of trust and an ugly joke, which is hard to imagine. It is when humanity lost, while evil triumphed.

The Feared Train with Cramped Wagon Cars

It was a goods train carrying people. All packed in like sardines. A single wagon meant for only 50 people was carrying over 300. In some cases, the train started its journey from as far as the Netherlands and took nearly 5 days & 5 nights to reach its final destination in Auschwitz. A single iron drum in each wagon served as a toilet. Imagine for 5 days, cramped in one wagon like sacks of grain and sitting beside shit and smelling it.

ALSO READ: Best AI Auto Subtitle Generators to Use in 2025

These people were not at all used to such extreme living conditions. Many belonged to well-to-do families from affluent cities and regions like Berlin, Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Krakow, etc. They lived a lavish lifestyle. And now dumped in hell. Some could not survive the ordeal and died on their way. It was mostly the elderly, sick, and children who could not bear the cold, insane physical torture and the inhuman condition inside the wagon car.

The Innocent Souls Who Perished

It comprised small children, infants, toddlers, young guys, girls, men, women, the elderly, and the sick. All Jews were destined to die as they got down at Auschwitz. Crammed in the tiny wagon for hours and days, some even died before the journey could end at this penultimate station. Auschwitz was the brainchild of the Nazis for receiving and butchering the Jews, Poles, Romas, Soviet prisoners, and Gypsies. The majority of them were Jews, brought from all over Europe and mainly from Poland and Germany.

Upon arrival, the selection process began. Yes, you heard it right! SELECTION. The old and weak men and women were separated from the crowd. The fittest were spared and kept for rigorous labor. The group of women, children, and elderly were ordered to march towards the gas chambers. Yes, Gas Chambers! For being gassed and killed. Thereafter, their corpses were stuffed into the burning ovens like you burn rubbish or garbage in your backyard.

Auschwitz was a well-organized killing factory, to be precise. One million Jews were butchered right at Auschwitz-Birkenau. All the personal belongings of the Jews that they had brought with them were confiscated upon arrival, their hair cut or head shaven, stripped naked, and directly paraded to the gas chambers in the cold of the winter months.

Arrival of the Train, Selection, and Final Walk to Death

The Nazi SS guards holding their howling German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois stood guard just almost everywhere. In front of each wagon door so that not a single person could escape or run. As soon as the door opened, they pulled out each one, irrespective of age, physical condition, or gender, just like pulling sacks or gunny bags from trucks. Such was the level of hatred for Jews infused in the minds of the German SS guards that they were bent upon inflicting the maximum suffering and pain, even to the smallest of infants in a mother’s arm.

The ‘Selection’ process began once everyone was pulled out of the train. A handful of the fittest were kept for menial labor at the concentration camp. The remaining paraded to the gas chambers after stripping off their clothes and shaving their heads. It was slaughter in broad daylight. The corpses were burnt in the furnace just beside the chambers after being gassed. It was a gory scene that not even Satan could have imagined. The air filled with the smell of the burning skin. It continued every single day for almost five long years until the Russians invaded and freed the remaining inmates in the camp in the winter of 1945. Only a few lucky ones got to survive this inhuman and unsparing ordeal.

Imagine what these innocent souls went through as long as they were alive in this camp. This was just in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Another 5 million Jews were slaughtered across Poland and Germany in these horrific extermination camps set up by the Nazis. It was a sheer display of madness by humans against humans. Hope and Pray this never repeats! Never Again!!
“If I Was Born A Jew, What Wrong Did I Do?” It was the unanswered question in the minds of all who perished in these scary extermination camps & filthy ghettos.

The Mahakumbh, also known as the Kumbh Mela, is one of the largest and most significant religious gatherings in the world. Held in India, this grand festival is a celebration of faith, spirituality, and cultural heritage, drawing millions of devotees, sadhus (holy men), and visitors from across the globe. Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Mahakumbh is a phenomenon that transcends religious boundaries and showcases the profound spiritual ethos of India.

Origins and Significance

The roots of the Kumbh Mela trace back to Hindu mythology. According to legend, the gods and demons once churned the ocean of milk (Samudra Manthan) to extract the nectar of immortality, or “amrita.” During the process, a battle ensued, and drops of nectar fell at four locations: Prayagraj (Allahabad), Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik. These cities became the sacred venues for the Kumbh Mela, which rotates among them.

The Mahakumbh, held every 12 years in Prayagraj, is the largest and most auspicious iteration of the festival. It is believed that during the Mahakumbh, the celestial alignment of Jupiter, the Sun, and the Moon creates a unique spiritual energy, purifying the rivers and offering devotees a chance to cleanse their sins by bathing in the holy waters.

The Grand Event

The Mahakumbh is a colossal gathering that spans over several weeks, attracting millions of pilgrims, ascetics, and tourists. The event is marked by various rituals, including the holy dip (shahi snan) in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. The shahi snan, led by akharas (religious sects) of sadhus, is a spectacular sight, with processions featuring chants, music, and elaborate decorations.

Apart from the spiritual aspects, the Mahakumbh serves as a cultural melting pot. It features:

Religious Discourses: Renowned spiritual leaders and scholars hold sessions, discussing philosophy, scriptures, and ethical living.

Art and Culture: Traditional music, dance, and crafts showcase India’s diverse heritage.

Community Service: Numerous organizations provide free food, medical aid, and shelter to the attendees.

One of the unique aspects of the Mahakumbh is the participation of Naga sadhus—ascetics who renounce worldly possessions and live in extreme austerity. Their dramatic appearance and deep spirituality draw significant attention and intrigue.

Spiritual Essence

The Mahakumbh is more than just a festival; it is a deeply spiritual experience. For devotees, the act of bathing in the sacred rivers is a way to attain moksha, or liberation from the cycle of life and death. This belief is rooted in the concept of ritual purity, which has been a cornerstone of Hindu spirituality for millennia.

Pilgrims undertake long and arduous journeys to reach the Mahakumbh, often traveling by foot or in groups. Their dedication is a testament to the power of faith and the human spirit’s quest for transcendence. The festival’s atmosphere is charged with devotion, as chants, prayers, and hymns resonate through the air.

Challenges and Management

Organizing the Mahakumbh is a massive logistical challenge. Authorities undertake meticulous planning to ensure the smooth functioning of the event. Infrastructure is temporarily expanded, including roads, sanitation, healthcare, and security. Modern technology, such as GPS tracking and drones, is employed to manage crowds and emergencies.

The scale of the Mahakumbh is staggering. In the most recent Mahakumbh, held in 2013, an estimated 120 million people attended over the course of the event. Managing such a vast gathering requires collaboration among various government agencies, religious organizations, and volunteers. Temporary tent cities are erected to house millions, and mobile medical units are stationed to address health emergencies.

Despite these efforts, the Mahakumbh faces significant challenges. Environmental concerns, such as water pollution and waste management, require constant attention. Efforts are made to ensure that the rivers remain clean, and eco-friendly practices are promoted among pilgrims. Additionally, the safety and security of attendees remain a top priority, with thousands of police and paramilitary personnel deployed to maintain order.

Global Recognition and Impact

The Mahakumbh’s global appeal has grown over the years, attracting tourists, researchers, and media from around the world. It offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian culture and the enduring significance of ancient traditions in a modern world. Documentaries, books, and academic studies have explored various facets of the Kumbh Mela, from its spiritual dimensions to its socio-cultural impact.

International visitors often describe the Mahakumbh as a transformative experience. The festival’s sheer scale, combined with its profound spiritual energy, leaves a lasting impression. For many, witnessing the Mahakumbh is an opportunity to connect with India’s spiritual heritage and gain insights into the universal quest for meaning and purpose.

The Role of Technology

In recent years, technology has played a pivotal role in enhancing the Mahakumbh experience. Mobile apps provide information on schedules, routes, and services, helping pilgrims navigate the vast event. Live streaming and social media enable those who cannot attend to participate virtually, broadening the festival’s reach and accessibility.

Efforts are also being made to document and preserve the Mahakumbh’s legacy. Digital archives and virtual reality experiences aim to capture the essence of the festival, ensuring that its cultural and spiritual significance is passed on to future generations.

A Celebration of Unity

The Mahakumbh is a remarkable example of unity in diversity. People from all walks of life—regardless of caste, creed, or nationality—come together to celebrate a shared spiritual journey. The festival serves as a reminder of humanity’s interconnectedness and the universal values of love, compassion, and harmony.

Conclusion

The Mahakumbh is not just a religious gathering; it is a celebration of life, faith, and unity. It serves as a reminder of humanity’s shared quest for spiritual enlightenment and the timeless values of love, harmony, and devotion. Whether one participates as a pilgrim or an observer, the Mahakumbh leaves an indelible impression, inspiring a deeper connection to the divine and the universal essence of existence.

By bridging the gap between the ancient and the modern, the Mahakumbh continues to be a beacon of spiritual and cultural vitality. It invites individuals from all corners of the world to immerse themselves in a transformative experience, fostering a sense of global kinship and collective hope for a harmonious future.

It was his anti-India nature and aggressive election campaign that helped him to gain the power in Maldives few months back but ever since the clash happend with India, things have taken wrong turn for Maldives’ president Mohamed Muizzu. The main opposition party in the parliament with the majority has clearly said that if Muizzu doesn’t apologies to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Impeachment Motion will be passed against him.

It was all started when Indian Prime Minister recently visited Lakshadweep and promoted the tourism of this beautiful Union Terriority of India. It might have pissed off some of the ministers of Maldives which were in Muizzu’s Government and they started trolling and abusing India as well as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Due to the outrage coming out on Social Media by Indians all around the worlds, in response to this, the Maldives Government had to suspend all those four ministers. But that didn’t do the damage control as Maldives recorded lowest number of Indians going for vacation, cancelling their hotels and flights to the country. That had gotten the association of Hotel and tourism in Maldives in tremendous pressure and that had put Muizzu in tremendous pressure ever since.

After Muizzu has back from his recent trip from China, where he received the grand welcome on Red-Carpet and signed various deals with the Chinese President Xi-Zingpiing, Muizzu said that Maldives isn’t a porch of any country specific and no one dares to threaten it. Although he didnb’t take any specific name but clearly he was speaking about India.

This wasn’t the first time Muizzu reacted like this under the Chinese influence but he was well known for his Anti-India behaviour. His election-motto was more clear with a slogan of “India-out” abd after being elected, he immediately asked the Indian Government to withdraw its forces from Maldives with a deadline of March 15, 2024. He also said that he would cut down the import of low quality medicines from India and will start importing them from Europe and America.

These statements have pissed off the main opposition leaders in the country and this impeachment process is the result of the same.

Now, Muizzu has the tremendous pressure from all opposition parties including the former president’s party Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). Karim Ibrahim, leader of the Zoomhoore Party, has said that it is really unacceptable the way Muizzu has said things about India and certainly he has to apologize for his remarks. There’s no way we can treat our neighbour countries like this, specially the country that has been supporting our needs for a very long time.

The news portal off Maldives, “Sun” has recently published a report that MDP has gained the required majority to bring the impeachment motion and this could be passed on the Monday anything in the parliament.

Maldives has 80 members in the Parliament and MDP has the highest number of members “45”. Muizzu only has the support of only 15 members which means if Muizzu doesnt’ agree to the terms of opposition, he is all set to loose power.

We recently published an article on how and why Nitish Kumar formed a Goverment in Bihar just after 18 months he broke his alliance with the same BJP Goverment and what its significance for his political career? Was he in any kind of pressure for the last 18 months even when he played an important role in forming an alliance of all opposition parties together called “I.N.D.I.” Or he just has played his cards after seeing the current trends for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024?

BJP’s Trumpcard – The Ayodhya

It may be said a masterstroke by Nitish Kumar but he just has a habit of flowing with the wind. He has a wild record of forming the Government with the parties that seems to be in good faith with him and generates good voting percentage.

But this could be a sudden master stroke by Nitish considering that he has been consistently angry by the ignorance and arrogance of the Gandhi family, even when the Gandhi family had to talk with him on the seats distribution, they skipped this part and Rahul Gandhi moved on to his next adventure called “Bharat Jodi Nyay Yatra”.

Second and most importantly, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. After the Pran-prathista work done by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ayodhya, BJP has generated a massive support all across the India, political experts are saying and seeing Narendra Modi already the next Prime Minister of India, 3rd time in a row.

When the Narendra Modi led BJP Government came in to the power back in 2014, they had three main goals named as “Uniform Civil Code”, “removal of Article 370”, and “Ram Mandir in Ayodhya”. The Supreme Court of India has recently made its final verdict on Article 370 saying that it was a mistake back then and will never be revoked or resumed in the future.

”Uniform Civil Code has been in the process as well and it will be coming anytime soon.”

And most recently, on January 22, 2024, the Pran Prathistha ceremony has also been done in Ayodhya and the great Ram Mandir stands all after the 500 years of dark and ignorance.

BJP has made this Pran pratishta ceremony a big event including not only the politicians but the leading Bollywood actors, cricketers, India’s leading business magnets like Mukesh Ambani etc. were present at the ceremony. Almost all streets of every state in India was celebrating with the people doing Pooja, Havana etc. in the temples and celebrating Diwali on January 22, 2024.

Hindus all over the world believe Lord Rama, an avatar of the Supreme Deity “Vishnu” was born in Ayodhya and ruled the place till his dealth. Back in the era of 1500-1600, the Mughal King Babar destroyed the holy temple and made a Masjid named as “Babri”.

December 6, 1992, when the Karsewaks destroyed Babri Masjid, the place ever since has been in dispute until the judgement done by the Supreme Court of India in 2019 that the land belongs to the Lord Rama based on the survey done by the ASI.

Soon after the judgement came, BJP delivered its promise and started building the temple on the land. The temple, however is still not completed as of yet but it had the main things completed that were necessary for the Pran-Pratishta ceremony.

Now, when the Ram Mandir promise has been delivered by the BJP, the statistics have been in most strength manner now, describing and predicting BJP coming in power again, making Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India, 3rd time in a row.

This report is getting more confirmed considering that the country has 80% population which is Hindu and Modi has delivered and touched their hearts by inaugurating the Great Ram Mandir.

On the other hand, what may be called a Big Blow for the main opposition party “Congress”, they had denied the invitation of Ram Mandir inauguration saying that this is an event of RSS-BJP for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024.

The Congress party has been brutally trolled and criticised after that and labelled as anti-Hindus party.

congress might not be worried about it since it has the core-voters which are non-Hindus but surely BJP has gained a massive support through the Ram Mandit.
